Frode is a Norwegian philosopher living and working in London. His philosophy of 'liquid information' led to the formation of The Hyperwords Company where he works to make online textual environments more liquid, in line with Doug Engelbart's goal of augmenting knowledge workers.

Previously he designed the Liquid Information email & usenet newsgroup system and he designed and produced LiSA, the Liquid Information Speaking Assistant.

Frode produced a documentary on Doug Engelbart, available to view on the web or as video Podcasts at Invisiblerevolution.net.

The liquid information philosophy is by nature fluid itself and is very much a product of the evolving digital environment is also expressed and explored in photography work, both still and moving. The stills work is not currently online but the moving photography work is online at www.fleetingmoment.org and www.twelveminutes.org.

Graduated from Syracuse University in New York, with an advertising degree. Masters in Human Computer Interaction from University College London Interaction Center.

He is working on a book, The Liquid Information Philosophy, which will be available in digital formats mid 2011.
