LiquidText

LiquidText is the technology which lets you change the text on the page you are on and which allows Hyperwords to know something useful about what you are selecting - even drawing from other elements on the page.

Conversions

For example you could choose to convert $50,063 to pounds. You select $50 by double clicking on the '50' (in Firefox - Safari selects the whole sum) but Hyperwords understands that it's a US $ amount since it checks outside the selection and it understands that the numerals to the right of the comma are to be included.

If you click on the pounds amount in Hyperwords it will insert the Pounds amount. Please try it by double clicking on the '50' in this sentence: $50,063

Translations

LiquidText is also the technology which gueses what language the selected text is and lets you translate the text right in the page. NOTE: Translation is not on by default so please click on 'Hyperwords' in the menu itself, then click on the dot next to 'Translate' to turn on translation. Conversions appear as an option automatically - but only when you select numbers.

Views

Liquidtext provides a means for you to manipulate the layout of the web page you are reading - something which can come in real handy when reading larger documents. NOTE: Views are not on by default so please click on 'Hyperwords' in the menu itself, then click on the dot next to Views to turn on Views.
