Hyperwords does not track what websites you visit, what websites it is used on or what text it operates on, nor does it track any personal information.

Hyperwords does, however, tell the server which commands were used (search, translate, etc.), as well as what time of day it was used, what browser version was used, and whether you used the mouse or keyboard. And nothing else.

Hyperwords tracks this information for two reasons:

1. To improve the service by figuring out what services people like best, and
2.  To help get fair deals with service providers.
