There are many categories of search in Hyperwords, it's worth spending the time to get to know the different ones.
The basic one is of course Google and it is very often the best choice. You can change what the basic search is and what searches are available in the Settings.
In-Menu Results
In manu cases you can get what you need right inside the menu, without even clicking a command.
If you want to find pictures you can do this easily and if you just want to glance at a picture, to remind you of what something or someone looks like, you can do this too. For example, what does the Trinidad flag look like? Well, just select (or enter in the toolbar) Trinidad flag, go to 'Search/pictures' and point to, or hover over, 'Google' and wait. The flag will appear. You cannot click on the flag, it's simply there in a tooltip window. But if you want to see other flags or you want to use this one, just click on 'Google'.
Searching for videos works the same way, with a tooltip preview if you like.
Do I know you?
One highlight though is searching for people. Say you are reading a business article and you see someone in a company in your field and there is a mention of a person who is doing something interesting. You want to know if you know someone who knows this person. And say you are using LinkedIn. So you just select the persons name, choose 'Search/people/LinkedIn' and now you can see if you have any connections in common. Very cool. Why not try it on Steve Jobs?
