The Hyperwords Toolbar is found in the top right hand corner of Firefox and it does pretty much exactly the same thing as the pop-up menu, except you write or paste text into it.

To use, click on it or type Control-Y on Windows or Command-Y on Mac, then enter some text - or paste from another application - and hit enter. You will then get the standard Hyperwords menu. If you hit 'enter' twice, you will perform a regular web search.

Some commands don't require any text at all, such as a few of the 'Page Info' commands. In these cases you can just click on the little spyglass icon on the right to get the menu.

Remove

You can change back to the regular Google search by clickin on the Hyperwords logo on the left and choosing Google, or any other search engine:

Quick Jump & Keyboard Shortcuts

A really cool use of the Toolbar is if you want to look something up that is most likely going to have a specific page at the top of search results. This could be the name of a company, person, product and so on. For example type in 'Firefox', hit enter and then 'g,' for 'Go/to Google top search result' and you will automatically, immediately, go to the official Firefox page.

Send URL

With a quick click of the @ sign in the toolbar, you can send the current URL.

You can turn this on by going to the Settings and choosing Toolbar.
